Disclaimers

The Chambered Nautilus is a modern link to pre-historic times! They are trapped at many hundreds of feet and brought up (within scuba range) to a relatively shallow 70 - 80 feet. In Palau, we were able to photograph and interact with them before allowing them to return to the deep.

Here Linda is waiting for our (very-shy) critter to come out of its shell.

Check out the reef wall behind her. She is at about 80 feet!

In November, 2002, we found that the Nautilus dive had been dropped from the tour.
