Nippo Maru Wreck

On Wednesday morning we headed off for two dives on the Nippo Maru, a 3,763 ton water carrier. She is not as overgrown as others, and retains more of the feel of a wreck, rather than seeming to be a straight reef! She sits almost totally upright on the bottom with her anchor chain splayed out.

Linda explores looking into the brightly lit bridge, where she finds the ship's telegraph.

The ship's telegraph is still in great shape!

The deck has lots of "hardware", including (Toyota) truck frames, a light tank and captured U.S. howitzer guns.

If you want to spend the time to download it (a minute or two), you can view the
video of the Nippo Bridge!
